What to expect...
You will learn essential knowledge and skills in this Samadhi Yoga Teacher Training that will help you teach transformative and powerful yoga classes in the Samadhi Vinyasa Flow style or simply deepen your own practice and life experience. In this in-depth program you will learn how to safely and effectively practice and teach traditional asanas, pranayama and basic meditation, japa and chant. You will learn about and experience physical and energy anatomy, yogic scriptures and lifestyle, yamas and niyamas, ayurveda, Bhakti yoga and Puja, kirtan, partner yoga, restorative yoga, tantric yoga, yoga for cancer recovery, prenatal yoga, the business of yoga and so much more.

The Samadhi Yoga Teacher Training program is sure to challenge you on every level. We will learn how to create classes that acknowledge and honor each student's unique process. Rather than memorizing someone else's teaching technique, we will learn how to teach empowering classes that are an expression of who we are now and who we are becoming. Our Samadhi Yoga Teacher Training program is committed to raising teachers that have the ability to create their own masterpiece classes with their own individual expression.
Our next program ...
We have made the bold decision to only host two Yoga Teacher Training programs per year in order to better serve yogis who are serious about their practice and education. We feel that by doing this we can offer a higher quality service and supply a program that goes much deeper than most. Our new program will require students to complete a list of pre-requisites which will steep the students in knowledge and experience as well as support an ongoing and consistent practice. We find this to be crucial in supporting the growth of top notch instructors. These pre-requisites will be offered throughout the year and will cover topics such as the Foundations of Asana, Anatomy and Physiology, Introduction to Vedic Philosophy and Yoga Sutras, Beginning Sanskrit, Energy Anatomy and much more. The core program which will be offered in the fall of 2008 and spring of 2009, will cover all the specific tools needed to teach powerful and profound yoga classes. Students are required to come into the program with a strong foundation of personal practice and studentship and will receive this through the pre-requisite program. Upon completion of the pre-requisites and then the core program, students may select an area of specialization. These include Pre/Postnatal Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raga-Scriptural Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga and more. These programs will allow the seeker to go deeper in their personal area of interest. In order to receive the Samadhi Yoga Teacher Certification one must complete all three of these levels. While only one specialization is required for Samadhi Certification, we highly encourage you to take as many as possible. Our Samadhi program offers a truly in-depth experience that undoubtedly allows for deep and powerful transformation. Our mission at Samadhi is to serve in the highest sense. We are not a mill for turning out hundreds of unprepared teachers with minimal training. It is our heartfelt desire to offer a life-altering experience, to empower you to spread the light in a very profound way and to create beautiful change on the planet in a huge way.
